John Michael Gyllenborg is an American football tight end for the Wyoming Cowboys.

Early life and high school
editGyllenborg attended Rockhurst High School in Jackson County, Missouri. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Wyoming Cowboys.[1][2]
College career
editGyllenbrog took a redshirt in 2021.[3] In 2022, he appeared in twelve games for the Cowboys, where he hauled in three receptions for 21 yards.[4][5] In week one of the 2023 season, Gyllenborg hauled in the game-winning 11-yard touchdown in double-overtime, as he helped the Cowboys to an upset win over Texas Tech.[6] During the 2023 season, he had a breakout season, notching 23 receptions for 360 yards and three touchdowns.[7][8] Gyllenborg entered the 2024 season as the Cowboys starting tight end.[9]
