Early life and high school

Gyllenborg attended Rockhurst High School in Jackson County, Missouri. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Wyoming Cowboys.[1][2]

College career

Gyllenbrog took a redshirt in 2021.[3] In 2022, he appeared in twelve games for the Cowboys, where he hauled in three receptions for 21 yards.[4][5] In week one of the 2023 season, Gyllenborg hauled in the game-winning 11-yard touchdown in double-overtime, as he helped the Cowboys to an upset win over Texas Tech.[6] During the 2023 season, he had a breakout season, notching 23 receptions for 360 yards and three touchdowns.[7][8] Gyllenborg entered the 2024 season as the Cowboys starting tight end.[9]
