He began the final table as chip leader[1] and, while three-handed, eliminated favourite Niklas Astedt when Griff's 9 9 hit a set on a board of 10 9 3 J K and as Astedt called an all-in raise from Griff for all of his chips on the turn, holding K J and missed a straight on the river.[5]
