Jordan Schindler (born 1991) is an American businessman. He is known for founding and serving as the chief executive officer of Clothing 2.0 and Nufabrx,[1] and for inventing medication-infused garments called HealthWear. Since 2025, he has also served as the chief executive of the medical device company NeuroVice, which specializes in epilepsy rescue devices.[2]
Early life and education
[edit]Schindler grew up in Tucson, Arizona. His mother worked as a physician, and his father ran a nonprofit organization.[3] He attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where he studied business and political science. As an undergraduate student, he started his first company from his dormitory room.[3][4]
Career
[edit]Schindler established Textile-Based Delivery, Inc. (originally known as TexDel) in 2011.[4][5] The company is known for inventing HealthWear, textiles intended to deliver controlled doses of medicine for various skin conditions such as acne and athlete's foot.[6] The company's first product was a bamboo pillowcase treated with tea tree oil and lavender.[5] Schindler relocated the business to Conover, North Carolina due to its textile manufacturing base and supplier network.[3][6][7] A new location was opened in Asheboro, North Carolina in 2020.[8]
TexDel launched the brand Nufabrx, which embedded active ingredients into yarn so that body heat and moisture would release them onto the skin. Products included compression sleeves and socks containing capsaicin.[7][5] Development was carried out in partnership with Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA), a Department of Defense-sponsored institute in the Manufacturing USA network.[9][5][10] By 2022, Nufabrx products were carried at Walmart and other retailers.[10][5]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company produced reusable copper-treated face coverings known as TheraMask.[11][3]
In September 2023, Textile-Based Delivery sold Nufabrx to Tallayne Holdings and launched Clothing 2.0, which licenses the underlying smart-textile platform to various partner companies.[12] Clothing 2.0 partnered with The Marena Group in 2024 to produce post-surgical compression garments infused with pain-relieving active ingredients.[13][14]
Epilepsy devices
[edit]Schindler is the chief executive officer of NeuroVice, an Atlanta-based medical device company founded by Ashlyn Sanders.[2][15] In December 2025, the company launched of PATI, an FDA-approved seizure rescue device to protect against oral injury and assist with airway management during seizures. NeuroVice's launch was also presented at the American Epilepsy Society annual meeting.[2][15]
