Jordan Silkowitz (born March 27, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Bay FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played collegiately for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones.

Early life and college career
editSilkowitz was raised in Fairfax, Virginia, one of two children born to Robert Silkowitz and Joni Henderson. She attended W. T. Woodson High School, where she lettered in four years of high school soccer, being named second-team all-state in 2017. She played club soccer including for ECNL team McLean Youth Soccer.[1]
Silkowitz redshirted her first season with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2018 behind Big Ten Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Devon Kerr.[2] The following season, she started only 4 of 18 games but led the team with 58 saves and was named to the Big Ten all-freshman team.[1][3]
Silkowitz transferred to the Iowa State Cyclones in 2020, playing every minute of the season and matching her total of 58 saves.[1] She made 13 starts and 76 saves in 2021, helping shut out TCU in the first round of the 2021 Big 12 tournament before falling on penalties.[1][4] She started every game and led the Big 12 with 100 saves in 2022, including a career-high 12 saves against both Iowa and Oklahoma State.[1][5]

editSilkowitz was drafted by the Kansas City Current with the 18th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NWSL Draft, becoming the first Iowa State player to be drafted in the NWSL and the first goalkeeper to be drafted by the Current.[6][7]
Brisbane Roar (loan)
editSilkowitz was loaned to the Australian club Brisbane Roar FC on September 13, 2023.[8] Three days after arriving in Australia, she made her professional debut starting in the season opener against Melbourne Victory FC on October 15.[9][10] She made 18 appearances for the Roar, recording five wins and three clean sheets, before being called back to the Current on March 8, 2024.[11]
Bay FC
editOn August 28, 2024, Bay FC announced that they had acquired Silkowitz from the Kansas City Current in exchange for Kayla Sharples and $15,000 in allocation money.[12] In late September it was announced that Silkowitz was signed to a two-year contract extension with Bay FC.[13]
