Jordan Turner is an American football linebacker for the Michigan State Spartans. He previously played for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Early life and high school
editTurner attended Farmington High School located in Farmington, Michigan. Coming out of high school, Turner was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Wisconsin Badgers.[1][2]
College career

editDuring Turner's first collegiate season in 2021, he notched six tackles with one being for a loss, and two interceptions on just 24 snaps.[3] In week nine of the 2022 season, Turner notched six tackles and an interception in a win over the Purdue Boilermakers.[4] In the 2022 Guaranteed Rate Bowl, Turner tallied eight tackles with one and a half being for a loss, as he helped the Badgers to a win over Oklahoma State, en route to being named the bowl's MVP.[5] Turner finished the 2022 season playing in all 13 games with 11 starts for the Badgers, where he totaled 65 tackles with five being for a loss, two sacks, a pass deflection, an interception, and a forced fumble.[6][7] During the 2023 season, Turner notched 61 tackles with six and a half being for a loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble.[8] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Turner decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[9][10]
Michigan State
editTurner decided to transfer to play for the Michigan State Spartans.[11][12] In week five of the 2024 season, Turner totaled nine tackles and an interception in a loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes.[13]
