Joseph Hugh Poujade (October 6, 1852 - April 24, 1930) was a lawyer and politician in the United States. He served as a state legislator and lieutenant governor in Nevada.[1]
Theodore Poujade was his father and Marguerite Cosgrove his mother.[2] He was born in Oregon Territory.[1][3] He moved with his family to Nevada. He served as President pro tempore of the Nevada Senate.[1]
He was elected mayor of Carson, Nevada.[4] In 1891 and 1893 he was president of the Nevada Senate.[5]
