Juan Fernández was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives.[2]

He was the father of labor activist Dolores Huerta.
Life and career
editFernández was a coal miner in Dawson, New Mexico.[3]
In 1938, he was elected to the New Mexico House of Representatives.[3] By the 1950s,[4] he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.[3]
