Khal Khal (Persian: خلخال, also Romanized as Khāl Khāl)[1] is a village in Dorudfaraman Rural District, in the Central District of Kermanshah County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 120, in 23 families.[2]

According to Vladimir Minorsky, the name of this village may indicate a connection with the ancient Kharkhar kingdom, which existed somewhere in the eastern Zagros Mountains in Neo-Assyrian times.[3]: 62
