Kharajgil (Persian: خرجگيل)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kharajgil Rural District of Asalem District, Talesh County, Gilan province, in northwestern Iran.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,849 in 629 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,819 people in 793 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,801 people in 826 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
