Khoshk Rud (Persian: خشك رود)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Khoshk Rud Rural District[4] of Rudbast District, Babolsar County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,450 in 368 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,602 people in 508 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,572 people in 522 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
