Kineosphaera is a Gram-positive, strictly aerobic non-spore-forming and motile genus of bacteria from the family of Dermatophilaceae.[1][2][3] Kineosphaera limosa has been isolated from activated sludge from Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan.[4]
