Krasne [ˈkrasnɛ] is a village in Przasnysz County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Krasne.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east of Przasnysz and 79 km (49 mi) north of Warsaw.

During World War II, it was the seat of Erich Koch, the last Oberpräsident of East Prussia. It was situated in the Zichenau Region.
History
editKrasne is the ancestral nest of the Krasiński family of the Ślepowron coat of arms.[2]
