Kuan on One

Kuan on One is a Philippine talk show created and produced by ABS-CBN Studios. Hosted by Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, it premiered on YouTube and iWantTFC on July 2, 2024. It is labeled as the first mainstream talk show for Visayans.[1] The series is viewable for free via ABS-CBN Entertainment's YouTube page.

Each episode features different celebrity guests who can speak in dialect (mainly Cebuano) or any Bisaya-related language (such as Waray, Ilonggo, or Hiligaynon), and both the celebrity guest and Melai primarily communicate in their native language. English and Tagalog subtitles are also available for non-Bisaya speakers.[2]

Development

The series was first announced on June 11, 2024 on ABS-CBN's social media pages.[3][4] A mediacon for the series entitled "Kuan on One with the Media" was held on June 25 along with the release of the series' second trailer and a poster drop.[5][6]

TV broadcast

The show had its TV broadcast starting on October 6, 2024 and airs every Sundays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z, replacing the weekend broadcasts of Goin' Bulilit, while its weekday broadcasts were replaced with the re-runs of the fifth season of Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal.
