Kuhsarat District (Persian: بخش کوهسارات) is in Minudasht County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dowzeyn.[3]

After the 2006 census, Kuhsarat Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Kuhsarat District, which was divided into two rural districts.
The National Census in 2011 counted 15,745 people in 4,264 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 15,116 inhabitants in 4,524 households.[2]
After the census, the village of Dowzeyn was elevated to the status of a city.[3]
