LSRCITY (stylized as LSR/CITY) is an electronic dance music project and concert experience by Gareth Emery. The project is known for its live shows, which incorporate the use of synchronized lasers and visual elements.[1][2][3] Since 2023, LSR/CITY has released seven singles, several of which feature vocalist Annabel Turner.[4]
Background
editEmery introduced LSR/CITY in April 2021, through an NFT drop on the site Nifty Gateway. It combines Emery's music with laser shows and 3D digital environments.[5][6]
The first LSR/CITY concert took place in May 2022 at the Sahara Events Center in Las Vegas during EDC Week 2022.[7][8][9][10][11] This one-off show was followed by the brand's V2 tour later that year, a series of six concerts across North American in late 2022.
In 2024, the project expanded with its third concert tour that included 16 locations in North America,[12][13][14][15] with performances at different venues including the Hollywood Palladium, the Pacific Coliseum, and Mission Ballroom.[16][17][18][19][20]
The LSR/CITY live show is a successor to Emery's previous laser tour, Laserface, which toured between 2017 and 2020.[21]
