History

edit

Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy offers education from kindergarten to grade 8, along with grades 9, 10 and 11. The lower school, grades Kindergarten through 5th, opened in fall 2022. The upper school hosted grades 6 and 9[3] For each following year, the academy will open to the next grade until the academy is open for kindergarten through grade 12. Cheryl Cedean and Bradley Warren have been appointed as principals for the academy.[4]

The buildings were constructed by Red Apple Development and Ryan Companies.[5][6][7]

Over winter break of the 2023-2024 school year, Bradley Warren left the school, leaving Cheryl Cedean in charge.
