Laurence Taylor is a senior British police officer. He is now an Assistant Commissioner in the Metropolitan Police with the portfolio of Professionalism.

Career

He served in Sussex Police from 1996 to July 2018,[1] before moving to the Metropolitan Police as a Deputy Assistant Commissioner.[2][3] His initial role in the new force was heading the Operations portfolio within Met Operations, then from April 2021 that of Local Policing within Frontline Policing.[4]
