Le Château-d'Oléron (French pronunciation: [lə ʃɑto dɔleʁɔ̃]; Occitan: Lo Chasteu d'Olairon, before 1962: Le Château)[3] is a commune located on the Island of Oléron, in the Charente-Maritime department, southwestern France.
