Lee Wilson (also known as Coach Lee) is an American relationship coach, YouTube personality, and best-selling author. He has been featured in prominent media outlets, including The New York Times, USA Today, Cosmopolitan Magazine, AskMen, The Today Show, Business Insider, Glamour, and Reuters.[1][2]
Early life
editBorn and raised in the southern United States, Wilson studied counseling and theology in college. Upon graduation, he joined a marriage guidance company, where he started learning about relationship coaching.[3][4]
Career
editIn the early 2000s, Wilson began his career with a nonprofit marriage-enrichment organization as a writer.[5]
Wilson was promoted to the position of marriage consultant.[6]
Wilson served as an associate professor at the University of Texas, Austin, and later worked as a research geologist for The Shell Development Company in Houston.[7]
In 2017, Wilson founded Love Dynamics. The associated website, MyExBackCoach.com, was featured in global media outlets, including magazines, newspapers and television shows.[8][9]
As of 2018, Wilson and his staff annually consult with approximately 4,000 individuals seeking guidance on relationships. He employs a variety of strategies, with a particular emphasis on the concept of limerence which is a term coined by American psychologist Dorothy Tennov.[10]
