Emmanuel Nkansah Ansong widely known as Lekzy DeComic, (Born 20 January 1990) is a Ghanaian stand-up comedian, Radio/TV Personality and MC celebrated for his exceptional blend of wit, charisma, and humor. Lekzy has been featured in many high-class comedy and corporate shows in Ghana and internationally, including Laughline Comedy Show, Night of Laughs and Music, and Laugh Out Loud. Coming from Africa - Columbus, Ohio, USA and Bloemfontein International Comedy Festival in South Africa and more. He has performed alongside Nigerian's own Basket Month, Ghanaian British comedian Kojo Anim, America's Comedian Griff, Thabisa Mhlongo, Legendary Kwaku Sintim Misa (KSM), Trevor Gumbi, Bolwin Blas, Johnny Pula, Kenny Blaq, OB Amponsah, Foster Romanus, DKB Ghana, and many others.[1]

Early life

Emmanuel Nkansah Ansong aka Lekzy DeComic was born on the 20th of January 1990 to Mr George Nkansah and Mrs Faustina Kesewaa Nkansah in Accra. He has two siblings and is the firstborn. He hails from Abetifi-Kwahu in the Eastern Region. He attended ST Mark Methodist Preparatory School and then attended Koforidua Secondary Technical School furthered it at Takoradi Polytechnic where he earned his HND in Graphic Design. He seamlessly transitioned from Design to Comedy since his talent was part of him at a younger age. A friend forced him to become a comedian because he is naturally funny anytime he opens his mouth to talk.[2]

He became a professional comedian in the Year 2013 and has been active till now without looking back. Lekzy's dynamic stage presence and quick-witted humor have made him a sought-after entertainer at major events locally, and globally. His versatility as a master of ceremonies shines through as he effortlessly engages diverse audiences, bringing joy and laughter to every occasion. Lekzy's comedy transcends cultural boundaries, making him the favorite not only in Ghana but also with international audiences. In addition to his stand-up prowess, Lekzy is an incredible impressionist, skillfully mimicking the voices and mannerisms of well-known personalities. His impressions add a unique dimension to his performances, captivating audiences with their comedic accuracy. His talent for impersonation showcases his versatility and enhances his ability to engage and entertain a wide range of audiences.
