editFlores was born and raised in South Norfolk, England.[2]
Career
editFlores released her debut EP "The Water's Fine!" in June 2018. Her second EP "Recently" followed in April 2019, with these two EPs marking the beginning of her career.
Flores first gained viral traction from her song "Rises the Moon."[3]
In 2024, Flores signed with Verve Records.[4] In May 2024, Flores announced plans to release her debut album, titled "Flower of the Soul."[5] The album was released on June 28, 2024.[6]
Influences
editFlores cites Vashti Bunyan[7] and Caetano Veloso[8] as influences. She also cites that her musical inspirations came generally from Bossa nova and folk records from her mother's CD collection.[8]
