Lipová (Hungarian: Nyitramalomszeg) is a village and municipality in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.
History
editIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.
Geography
editThe village lies at an altitude of 126 metres and covers an area of 13.63 km2. It has a population of about 1595 people.
Ethnicity
editThe population is about 97.5% Slovak, 1.5% Romany and 1% Hungarian.
