Winning other trophies
editAlthough not an officially recognised achievement, two clubs have achieved the distinction of winning the BAL, their domestic championship, and their primary domestic cup competition in the same season, known colloquially as the "continental treble":
- Al Ahly in 2023, having won the Egyptian Premier League and Egyptian Cup
- US Monastir in 2022, having won the Championnat Pro A and Tunisian Cup

Although Khaman Maluach came up another terrific individual performance, finishing with 16 points, 19 rebounds, and set a record for most blocks (7) in a BAL game, the Oilers couldn't capitalize from it.
