edit- Notes
- ^ a b c The dating of the three Roman bridges is uncertain, all of them are located near ancient Roman roads. Oberdorf and Adriach Bridges are believed to be part of a road that led from Flavia Solva (near today's Wagna) through the Mur valley to Poedicum (today's Bruck an der Mur) and from there on to Stiriate (today's Liezen). An old Roman main road, the "Via Norica" led at least directly past the settlement in Unterzeiring, just near the bridge of Oberzeiring.
- ^ a b c d The length given only takes into account the main bridge, central span(s) and shore span(s), approach viaducts are not counted.
- ^ With a 190 metres (620 ft) high deck over the Sill River, the Europa Bridge was the highest bridge in Europe until the opening of Italia and Sfalassà Viaducts in Italia in 1974. It's still the highest bridge in Austria.[26]
