This is a list of public art on permanent public display in Tasmania, Australia.

Originally, it was created for the entrance of the Australian Mutual Provident Society's building in Elizabeth Street, at the site of NAB House. After the building was demolished, it was donated to the gardens in 1968 to mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of the gardens. [9]
