The name Hugo has been used for one tropical cyclone and one extratropical cyclone worldwide.
In the Atlantic Ocean, where it was used only once:
- Hurricane Hugo (1989) – a powerful and damaging Category 5 hurricane that affected the Northeastern Caribbean Sea and the Southeastern United States.
The name Hugo was retired after the 1989 season and was replaced with Humberto.
In Europe:
- Storm Hugo (2018) – a large extratropical system that affected Portugal.
