Luvsannyamyn Gantömör (Mongolian: Лувсаннямын Гантөмөр, born 26 February 1973) is a Mongolian politician and leader of the Democratic Party since 2023.[1] He was a member of the State Great Khural from 2004-2016, and was re-elected as a member in 2024.[2] He previously served as Minister of Education under the Altankhuyag and Saikhanbileg cabinets from 2012-2014, and as deputy leader of the Democratic Party caucus between 2009-2012.[3]

Biography
editGantömör was born in Ulaangom, Uvs Province, and graduated high school in 1991. Between 1993-1996 he studied in Japan at National Institute of Technology, Sendai College , training as a communications engineer, and between 1996-1999 at Nagaoka University of Technology as an electronics engineer.[3]
Between 2000-2007 he was the deputy leader of the Democratic Youth Union, serving as its leader from 2007-2010.[3]
