Madhuca kingiana is a tree in the family Sapotaceae. It is named for the botanist George King.[3]

Description
editMadhuca kingiana grows up to 20 metres (70 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 20 cm (8 in). The bark is greyish brown. Inflorescences bear up to six flowers.[3]
Distribution and habitat
editMadhuca kingiana is native to Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. Its habitat is lowland mixed dipterocarp forest to 1,800 m (5,900 ft) altitude.[1]
Conservation
editMadhuca kingiana has been assessed as near threatened on the IUCN Red List. The species is threatened by logging and conversion of land for palm oil plantations.[1]
