Mahmeleh District (Persian: بخش محمله) is in Khonj County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mahmeleh.[3]

History

After the 2016 National Census, the village of Mahmeleh was elevated to the status of a city.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 7,199 in 1,481 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 8,998 people in 2,125 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 9,625 inhabitants in 2,630 households.[2]
