Mahura tarsa is a species of Agelenidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1973 by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton from female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
editThe female is recorded at 2.52mm in length. The cephalothorax and legs are coloured pale yellow brown and have blackish shading. The abdomen is creamy and shaded with black.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Mount Taranaki, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[2]
