Taxonomy

This species was described in 1990 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]

Description

The male is recorded at 3.39mm in length whereas the female is 3.45mm. The carapace is darkly coloured. The abdomen is patterned dorsally.[1]

Distribution

This species is only known from Fiordland, New Zealand.[1]

Conservation status

Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[2]
