Mansoor Delane (born December 15, 2003)[1] is an American football cornerback for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Early life and high school
editDelane attended high school at Archbishop Spalding. Coming out of high school, Delane was rated as a three-star recruit where he held offers from schools such as Boston College, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Minnesota, Louisville, and Vanderbilt.[2] Ultimately, Delane decided to commit to play college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies.[3][4]
College career
editIn week eleven of ten of the 2022 season, Delane recorded his first career interception in a loss versus Duke.[5] During Delane's freshman season in 2022 he played in eight games where he totaled 38 tackles with three and a half being for a loss, eight pass deflections, an interception, and two forced fumbles.[6] For his performance during the 2022 season, Delane was named a FWAA freshman All-American.[7] In the 2023 season, Delane notched 54 tackles with two and a half going for a loss, a pass deflection, an interception, and a fumble recovery.[8]
Personal life
editDelane is the older brother of four star safety Faheem Delane who is in the 2025 recruiting class.[9][10]
