Masahudu Alhassan (born 1 December 1992) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Tajik club Ravshan Kulob. He made eight appearances for the Ghana national team between 2011 and 2012.

Club career
editAlhassan spent his early career with the youth team of Ghanaian club Prampram Mighty Royals, before joining the youth team of Italian club Rimini,[2] before later signing for Genoa, where he made his professional debut.[1]
In January 2013, it was announced that Serie A club Udinese had signed Alhassan on a co-ownership deal, for €1.5 million, as part of Antonio Floro Flores's deal.[3][4] Udinese also signed Alexander Merkel in the same deal. In June 2013 Udinese signed Alhassan outright for another €620,000.[3]
On 4 August 2013, he joined Latina on a loan deal.[5] In January 2015 he returned to Latina.[6] He moved to Albanian club Teuta Durrës in January 2018.[7]
On 6 September 2018, Al-Ain has signed Alhassan for one seasons from Teuta Durrës.[8] On 26 February 2020, Alhassan joined Finnish club Turun Palloseura for one year.[9] In May 2023, Alhassan was signed by FC Jazz.[10]
On 28 February 2024, Alhassan signed a one-year contract with Tajikistan Higher League club Ravshan Kulob.[11]
International career
editAlhassan was part of the Ghana national under-20 football team at the 2011 African Youth Championship.[12]
On 7 November 2011, Alhassan was called up to the Ghana senior squad to face Sierra Leone and Gabon.[13]
In December 2011, Alhassan was named to Ghana's provisional 25-man squad for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations,[14] and in January 2012 he was selected for the tournament's 23-man squad.[15]
