Maxim Mrva (born 2 August 2007) is a Czech professional tennis player. He has a career-high ITF junior combined ranking of No. 6, achieved on 2 September 2024. He and Rei Sakamoto won the boys' doubles title at the 2024 US Open.

Early life

Mrva is from Prostějov.[1] He began playing tennis at the age of five, introduced to the sport by his older brother.[2] His favorite tennis player is Nick Kyrgios.[3] He plays for TK Agrofert Prostějov.[4]

Junior career

In 2021, he won the Petits As, defeating Federico Cinà in the final.[5] In October 2022, he won the J1 Torneo Internacional Junior in Sanxenxo.[6] In January 2023, he made his Junior Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open, where he reached the second round in singles.[7][8] In April 2024, he won the J500 tournament in Offenbach.[9]
