editMeadow Run rises about one mile (2 km) northeast of Washington Springs, Pennsylvania,[2] and then flows southeast and northeast to join the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle.[3]

editMeadow Run drains 41.20 square miles (106.7 km2) of area, receives about 50.7 in (1,290 mm) per year of precipitation, has a wetness index of 376.51, and is about 82% forested.[5]
