Message is the same, except I included a link to the WP:VAND page as this adds more context to the message. NanohaA'sYuriTalk, My master 21:38, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

General warning
editIsn't this the general warning? Re [1] and [2]. –xeno talk 18:59, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah. This is a very easy mistake to make, as clicking "Create/edit selected message" for the first time defaults to editing the generic message. I've created {{Editnotices/Page/MediaWiki:Abusefilter-warning}} to hopefully prevent further mishaps. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 20:01, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

"Edit" should be changed to "$1" to match the action that the user took (move, createaccount, etc.) — EthanGaming7640, Counter-Vandalism Unit 15:03, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
- Not done @EthanGaming7640: that wouldn't really work with the rest of the message (say it was for newaccount, why would you click publish then?) - but moreso because this generic message shouldn't be on the filters that are for moves or new accounts already - can you point to some specific examples where this is being used? — xaosflux Talk 15:49, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

I think that "revocation of your editing privileges" should be changed to "being blocked from editing."
Example:
Warning: An automated filter has identified this edit as potentially unconstructive. Please be aware that vandalism may result in being blocked from editing. If this edit is constructive, please click 'Publish changes' again, and report this error. |
