The MIME search feature seems to be disabled on this project. However, there is currently no indication of this. A note to that effect in this message would be helpful – Qxz 03:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- You may wish to first explain what the MIME search feature is... Please also be aware that if a note is added to message, that note would in fact be a replacement of the image. Cbrown1023 talk 02:19, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
This page enables the filtering of files for its MIME-type. Input: contenttype/subtype, e.g. image/jpeg.
- It does not seem to be activated on other Wikis, but that is what it does. Cbrown1023 talk 02:21, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Not done This feature has been discontinued by the MediaWiki software, it is not needed. See the deletion log for more information. Cbrown1023 talk 02:23, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
{{sudo}}
What I meant was, the special page still exists, and looks at first glance as though it would work, but then does nothing when used. Changing this message to explain that this non-functionality is intentional and not an error would be helpful – 86.133.139.4 10:24, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Done. I've also inquired about this at WP:VPT. --- RockMFR 16:37, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
