Replace image
editREPLACE ALL INSTANCES OF THIS COPYVIO IMAGE WITH Image:Lock-icon.png
- No longer an issue, since the copyvio image has already been replaced with another PD SVG image. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 07:41, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Table
editThe table in this message should be replaced with CSS similar to that found at vi:MediaWiki:Readonlytext or Template:GFDL. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 07:41, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

- It needs to be the same style as the other MediaWiki messages. Also, transclusion doesn't work when the message is rendered. haz (talk) 21:53, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Using a different version of the lock image?
editSimilarly to what was discussed at MediaWiki talk:Protect-text#Using a different version of the lock image?, are there any thoughts on switching the lock icon here from the standard full-protection lock with an "F" on it to File:Full-protection-shackle-keyhole.svg or File:Full-protection-shackle-no-text.svg (both pictured below)? Given that a database lock is different from full protection, I'm not sure the new lock with an "F" on it is a good fit for our use case here as I suspect the old full protection lock icon was used to just represent a general "lock" as opposed to applied full protection and that a big "F" might be confusing.
-
Same lock, keyhole instead of "F"
-
Same lock, no "F" or other icon
While we used the keyhole version at MediaWiki:Protect-text under a similar rationale, I'm open to any thoughts. Best, Mifter (talk) 02:20, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
- I have also linked to this discussion at MediaWiki talk:Readonlywarning as the messages are very similar and if we switch one, we probably want to switch both. Mifter (talk) 02:23, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Please add ", or Wikimedia Community join on Discord on Discord" to the message after the part about visiting IRC. People have Discord and it seems as if sometimes there is a bit more information on Discord than on IRC. Awesome Aasim 18:14, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
