Michael Benjamin Washington (born June 7, 1979) is an American actor known for his roles in American Auto, 100 Questions, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.[1][2] He has also performed in Broadway productions of The Boys in the Band, Funny Girl, Mamma Mia!, La Cage aux Folles,[3] and others.[4][5]
Early and personal life
editWashington was born in Dallas, Texas on June 7, 1979.[1] He is a YoungArts alumnus.[6] In 1997, he was named a Presidential Scholar of the Arts as part of the 1997 U.S Presidential Scholars Program.[7] Afterwards, he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, with a Journalism minor.[8]
