Michael Olorunsogo Oni

Michael Olorunsogo Oni (born 1994, Lagos) is a Nigerian jeweller. Currently based in Maryland, United States, he specializes in gemstones and jewels.[1] Oni is noted for designing jewellery pieces for Davido and other artists.[2][3][4]

Career

Michael Olorunsogo Oni started a company on 15 September 2021 called Quila Jewelers, also known as Jewelrybyquila.[5] Quila Jewelers is registered in Essex, Maryland.[citation needed]

Oni has created pieces for several Afrobeats artists, including Davido and his wife Chef Chi, who purchased pieces from Jewelrybyquila. In addition, he has collaborated with JT Foxx. Oni's designs have been mentioned in several publications, including Vanguard News, Tribune Online, among others.[6][7]

In December 2023, Oni announced that Jewelrybyquila would expand its presence in Nigeria.[8]
