Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1968 by Cecil Wilton from a single female specimen collected in the Tasman District. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
editThe female is recorded at 11.9mm in length. The carapace and legs are chocolate brown. The abdomen is grey brown.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Tākaka in the Tasman District, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
