Michael R. Jacobs (born May 9, 1979) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Mercer University, a position he has held since 2024.[1][2] He was the head football coach for Lenoir–Rhyne University from 2020 to 2023.[3][4][5] He was the head coach for the Notre Dame Falcons football team from 2016 to 2019.[6][7] He also coached for Eastern Michigan, Wilmington, Purdue, and California (PA).[8] He played college football for Ohio State as an offensive lineman and long snapper.[8][9]
