editThe station consists of two ground-level island platforms connected by a level crossing. The wooden station building is on the side of Platform 2. The station is attended.

History
editMimasaka-Emi Station opened on November 28, 1934. With the privatization of the Japan National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the aegis of the West Japan Railway Company. A new station building was completed in February 2021.
