Ministry of Women's Affairs (Palestine)

The Ministry of Women's Affairs in Palestine is a government agency responsible for promoting and protecting the rights of women in Palestine. The Ministry was established in 2003, and its mission is to develop and implement policies and programs aimed at improving the status of Palestinian women.[1] The current minister is Amal Hamad.[2]

The Ministry's goals include advancing women's participation in decision-making at all levels, promoting gender equality and eliminating discrimination against women, increasing women's access to education, health care, and other basic services, and protecting women's rights in accordance with international standards.[3][4]
