Mission Support Site Conoco is an American airbase located in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, Syria. The airbase is 5 miles (8.0 km) away from the Syrian outpost Conoco. The airbase has been the target of numerous attacks by Iranian proxy groups and the Syrian military to stop the American intervention in the Syrian civil war.[1][2]
