Mitsuko Yoshikawa (吉川 満子, Yoshikawa Mitsuko, 21 June 1901 – 8 August 1991) was a Japanese actress[1] who played in over 250 films, often under the direction of Yasujirō Ozu and Hiroshi Shimizu.[2]

She joined the Shochiku film studios in 1924 and gave her film debut in 1926 in Kujaku no hikari. After the war, she became a freelancer[1] and, besides working for Shochiku, appeared in productions of Toho, Shintoho, Daiei and other studios[2] She gave her final performance in 1984 in Juzo Itami's The Funeral.[2][3]
