editThe Mitterhorn can be reached both from the neighboring Persailhorn to the West or the Breithorn to the South as a popular Via Ferrata B-C across the three summits, starting either from Wiechenthaler Hut (Wiechenthaler Hütte) or Riemann Hut (Riemannhütte).
