Montorie Foster Jr. (born August 3, 2001) is an American football wide receiver for the Michigan State Spartans.

Early life and high school
editFoster attended high school at St. Edward located in Lakewood, Ohio. Coming out of high school, Foster planned on playing college basketball as he had two offers from Akron and Eastern Kentucky.[1] However, Foster, who didn’t play football until his senior year of high school, was also rated as a three star football player and decided to commit to play college football for the Michigan State Spartans.[2][3]
College career
editDuring Foster's first collegiate season in 2020, he played in seven games where he made two tackels, while making no receptions.[4] In week ten of the 2021 season, Foster made his first career start bringing in three catches for 33 yards versus Purdue.[5] During the 2021 season, Foster notched 12 receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown, in three starts for the Spartans.[6] In the 2022 season, Foster notched seven receptions for 98 yards and a touchdown.[7][8] During week ten of the 2023 season, Foster tallied four receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown in a win over Nebraska.[9] In week twelve, Foster brought in seven receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown, as he helped Michigan State to a win over Indiana.[10] During the 2023 season, Foster started in all 12 games for the Spartans, hauling in 43 receptions for 576 yards and three touchdowns.[11][12]
