Mrityunjayee Prangan A sculpture installation named 'Mrityunjayi' for Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was located at Bijoy Sarani Circle in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] After the resignation of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina on 5 August, the Sheikh Mujibur Rahman sculpture was demolished.[2]

Sculptures Sculptures were displayed in Victory Day parades in 2021 and 2022.[3] The sculpture was erected under the supervision of the Bangladesh Army.[4][5] After Sheikh Hasina resignation on 5 August, the Sheikh Mujibur Rahman statue was demolished.[2]

Description

There is a sculpture of former president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in this premises. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's contribution to the Bengali language movement to the Bangladesh Liberation War struggle and various incidents of the language movement and freedom struggle are highlighted in the mural of the sculpture wall.[6][7]
