Mul-T-Lock is an Israeli company that develops padlocks, combination locks, and related security products. It was founded in 1973 by Moshe Dolev and Avraham Bahry[1] and is a subsidiary of Assa Abloy.

Mul-T-Lock was established in 1973 and rose to prominence for its invention of the four-way lock. In 1976, Its innovative lock design led to a wider recognition when marketing efforts expanded internationally. As the company experienced subsequent growth, it expanded its manufacturing facilities.  [2]

By 1982, Mul-T-Lock had significantly diversified its product line to include a wide range of high-security cylinders, locks, and applications. In 1987, Mul-T-Lock established its first sales division in the United States, and in 2000, ownership was transferred to Assa Abloy [3]

Mul-T-Lock expanded its global presence under the ownership of Assa Abloy; establishing sales units in Europe and entering the APAC market. The company broadened its operations by manufacturing automatic key-cutting and assembly machines for its customers.

Mul-T-Lock remains a subsidiary of the Assa Abloy Group.
